Description

A high quality Holy Water Sprinkler for Liturgical use. The standing vessel is made of brass and has a tapering lid with holes which help to srpinkle the Holy Water (agiasmos). It can also be used to sprinkle myrrh.

This liturgical implement is also known as Aspergillum or Aspergil. It is used by several Christian denominations (Roman Catholic, Anglican, Orthodox etc) in a variety of ceremonies where sprinkling of Holy Water is appropriate.
