Description
Holy Water Sprinkler of high quality for Liturgical use. Beautiful high polished brass standing vessel with a tapering lid. The top of the lid has holes in it from which the Holy Water (agiasmos) is sprinkled. It can also be used to sprinkle myrrh.
This liturgical implement is also known as Aspergillum or Aspergil. It is used by several Christian denominations (Roman Catholic, Anglican, Orthodox etc) in a variety of ceremonies where sprinkling of Holy Water is appropriate.
